How can I find out which internet services are available at my address?

Was benötige ich für einen Internetanschluss über Glasfaser?
Für einen Internetanschluss über Glasfaser ist ein bestehender Glasfaseranschluss (z. B. eine OTO-Dose) an Ihrem Wohnort erforderlich. Falls bereits eine OTO-Dose vorhanden ist, benötigen wir die sogenannte OTO-ID – diese finden Sie direkt auf der Dose.
How much does the activation of my internet connection cost, and what is included in the offer?
The activation of your internet connection costs a one-time fee of CHF 49.00. In addition, you will receive a free rental router. You can choose between two contract options:
- 12 months (activation fee applies)
- 24 months (activation is free)
How long does it take to activate my internet connection?
Please check the availability of the technology (VDSL or fiber) before placing your order. If the technology is available, the delivery time is 5 to 10 working days. If the OTO ID (fiber) is not available, you will be informed of the installation date.
When does the billing for my internet connection start?
The recurring charges are billed for the first time in the month following the activation of your internet connection. Billing is always calculated in full months.
How and when can I terminate my internet service?
You can terminate your contract only after the minimum term you selected has ended.
After that, you may terminate your internet service with one month’s notice, effective at the end of the following month. Please send your cancellation by email to: info@netvoip.ch.
What should I consider when terminating my current internet provider contract if I switch to netvoip Connect?
Before switching to netvoip Connect, you should terminate your current internet subscription on time. Simply order your netvoip Connect plan and specify your desired activation date during the order process. Please make sure to observe the cancellation deadlines of your current provider. If needed, we will be happy to provide you with a cancellation template.
Important: If you would like to keep your landline number, please contact our customer service before completing your order. If the number is canceled without being ported, it may be permanently lost.
Is there a guarantee for the speed or availability of my internet connection?
The internet service is provided on a “best effort” basis. This means we always strive to deliver the best possible service. However, we cannot provide a binding guarantee for availability, performance, or quality.
Which network is my internet connection provided through?
Our DSL and fiber connections are provided through a reliable telecommunications network in Switzerland, ensuring a stable and high-speed internet connection.
What are the benefits of a fixed IP address, and why is it optional?
A fixed IP address ensures that your internet connection always keeps the same IP address. This is particularly useful for applications such as remote work access, VPN connections, or running servers (e.g., web or mail servers).
The fixed IP address is optional because most private users do not need it, and in most cases a dynamic IP address is sufficient. The dynamic IP address is included at no extra cost.
When will I receive my invoice, and what period does it cover?
Invoices are issued monthly in arrears and cover the costs of the previous month.
